I just love this studio!!!!

Good morning from Paphos! Not a day for weddings in the Mediterranean people. Very wet and dark but we need the rain badly and I would rather it rained now. Weather like this is going to keep me hauled up in my office today. Absolutely desperate to get on with my stationery design and post some more pictures.

Wedding research has been ongoing this week and I'm loving all the paper lanterns, all shapes and sizes and pretty coloured jam jars with candles. Candles so romantic surely an every wedding MUST. I must get on with my cupcake pricing I remember promising you for this week, hopefully today! Laura (one of my brides) has emailed some lovely pictures of butterfly cupcake holders that I can apparently get from Amazon if they re-stock.

I will be in touch later today but take a look at this stunning little workshop! I know I have a view to die for but I fell in love with this - so damn pretty!

Big is beautiful

Big is beautiful so I'm told. Yes large posies of blooms are in vogue for 2011! Stem detail is lovely wide satin ribbon just tied in a bow. Looks like romance is back into weddings hurrah!!!!!

Romance, Paris, Amour it's here looking absolutely lovely! The look is still very vintage, shabby chic but with just that touch of glamour. I will post some pictures on my finds a little later.

I'm back after a busy holiday! Sorry so busy with the office and no time to update this blog

Happy New Year to all hope you had a fabulous holiday!

Well I have been doing some research on stationery both wedding and general and I can't find anything I like. One thing for sure I love all the vintage look I think it's stunning and so romantic.

It got me thinking so to the drawing board I happily went and came up with the following.

One set of stationery that I recently designed was the 'Vintage Rose Wreath' collection (what a mouthful) just very simple roses on cream or white linen card stock. I've used a clotted cream coloured ribbon although it can be teamed up with any of those sludgy pinks or greens that go so well with the vintage look. I haven't photographed the full range - just a little taster. The invitations so far are a normal folded invite and a flat card invitation I will be adding pocketfolds and wallets later on.

The most popular theme for last year was butterflies - but again I couldn't find inspiration anywhere! I did however come up with the butterfly design above which I love. I added sparkle in the way of real Swarovski crystals and went sludgy and vintage with the ribbon. Again this comes in the full range of stationery.
